"At JLM Produce - Krijgsman we think that the consumption and demand for Mexican limes could still grow. Mexican limes are often more expensive than the Brazilian limes because they are often of better quality (colour) and so more desirable. But we try to position them in the market in a manner that means that the price difference isn't too great and the choice between Mexican or Brazilian is easier to make," says Ivonn Vazquez.
"Our supplier from the region Veracruz, an area with a large lime production of excellent quality, has over 60 years experience. The first arrivals were of good quality. JLM Produce - Krijgsman has weekly arrivals, although rain in Mexico has meant there there is less volume available this week."
