Peet's Coffee & Tea, a US-based specialty coffee and tea company, plans to open more than 90 new stores over the next 18 months in eight US markets across the Midwest and East Coast.
This expansion is aimed at offering its coffee to more customers across the US. The company commenced the expansion with a new store in Solon, Ohio.
Initiating with 10 stores in Cleveland, Ohio this August, the coffee and tea chain will open another eight stores in Columbus, Ohio through September 2013.
These stores in Ohio will be followed by new outlets in Pennsylvania and Michigan.
Peet's Coffee & Tea president and CEO David Burwick said: "Being a part of the community is vital to who we are at Peet's, and we're looking forward to working with other local businesses in Cleveland and supporting the overall community."
