The hickory-flavored biscuit features a smoked sausage slow cooked in natural spices, then split lengthwise and served hot off the grill inside a delicious Bojangles' made-from-scratch buttermilk biscuit, the company said.

Bojangles' noted that this limited time offering will be made fresh throughout the day so the unique flavor of this offering will be available to satisfy customers' cravings.

Commenting on the launch, Bojangles' Marketing senior vice president Randy Poindexter said that the slow cooked Smoked Sausage Biscuit has become a highly-anticipated fall tradition at Bojangles'.

"As with all our made-from-scratch menu items, our teammates take care to perfect Bojangles' buttermilk biscuit and slow cooked smoked sausage recipe - our customers crave this attention to detail," added Poindexter.

Bojangles' Smoked Sausage biscuit will be available in all 200-plus company-operated stores.
