American brewer Fulton Beer is set to expand its operations by establishing a new 51,000ft² production brewery in Northeast Minneapolis as part of strategy to meet growing demand.
To be operational in late 2014, the new brewery will feature an 80 barrel brewhouse, high-speed bottling and kegging lines with an initial capacity of 20,000 barrels of annual production.
This move will enable the brewer to expand the distribution of its products beyond the Twin Cities and to produce seasonal and limited Garage Series beers.
Fulton Beer, after the new brewery is commissioned, will begin brewing 100% of its distributed beer at the new location.
However, the new location will not have a taproom, as the Minnesota law limits breweries to one taproom per company.
Fulton will continue to brew small batches at its current brewery for the taproom.
