Spar is to launch a new customer magazine called 'There For You' as part of a £5 million UK multi-media campaign.
The first issue of the magazine, which will roll out to 2000 Spar stores from 4 November, will feature recipes, details of Spar products and community news, as well as an interview with Northern Irish spar retailer, Peter McBride of Spar Omagh.
"The launch of our 'There For You' customer magazine is a key milestone in our multimedia campaign," Spar UK head of marketing Philippe Rondepierre commented.
"The magazine will give Spar great opportunities to build stronger relationships with our shoppers, engaging them with content we are confident they will enjoy," he added.
1.6 million copies of the 24-page magazine will be circulated to Spar shoppers in November, with the next edition set to be released in March 2014.
Last month, the retailer announced its return to UK TV screens for the first time in four years with a national ad campaign.
