Brooklyn Brewery, a microbrewery based in Brooklyn in New York City, will expand the distribution of its beers to Nevada in collaboration with Southern Wine & Spirits in October 2013.

The brewer will start shipping its beer to Nevada next week, which will made available for sale from 1 October 2013.

Brooklyn Brewery sales vice president of Robin Ottaway was quoted by Brewbound as saying that at the end of this year, they will have doubled in size in the last three years.

"They sell a boatload of beer," Ottaway added. "That one account alone would make any new market viable for us.

"We want to build a good brand here and I think we will focus on this for a couple of years."

The company will also introduce its beers in Brooklyn Bowl, a New York-based nightspot, which will start its operations in Las Vegas.

Besides this, Brooklyn Brewery also plans to launch its products in 2014 in more Brooklyn Bowl locations that will open at LINQ, Caesars Entertainment's open-air retail, dining and entertainment district.
