The Grand Teton Vodka distillery in the north of downtown Driggs, Idaho, US is set to expand its capacity and introduce whiskey to its existing range of products.
As part of the expansion, the distillery will deploy automated bottling equipment, pallet racks for storage of bottles, raw materials and supplies, the company said.
Grand Teton will also introduce white whiskey in various flavors including, regular, Huckleberry and Apple Pie Spice.
Commenting on the expansion plan, Grand Teton Vodka distillery owner Lea Beckett was quoted by the Idaho State Journal as saying that they are doubling the size of the distillery.
"We are now 2,400 square feet and will be 5,000 square feet when done," added Beckett.
"We expect to triple our production next year, and will use well over 500,000 pounds of raw potatoes."
Grand Teton Vodka distillery will also install solar panels with a total installed capacity of around 8KW in order to lower its electricity costs.
