The Lovers Wine range currently includes three quality Australian wines, Bubbly White, Bubbly Rosé and a Still Red, produced in Australia for Australian and global export markets. Additionally, a single Lovers Wine Sparkling White variety has also been produced in Japan for the Japanese market with a quality Chilean wine.
This wine diversity is part of Barokes’ ‘Wines of the World’ strategy, which to date has also included two premium wines sourced from the Languedoc Roussillon region in the south of France, filled at a licensed Vinsafe filling facility in Bordeaux and exported to Japan.
With all the benefits of an aluminium can, the Lovers Wine range has the appearance and premium feel previously only conveyed by conventional glass wine bottles. China will be one of the first markets to launch the Lovers Wine range following the recent partnership between Barokes and COFCO Corporation, a state-owned enterprise and China’s largest food processing, manufacturer and trader. COFCO will be distributing the Lovers Wine range and other Barokes wines throughout mainland China under an exclusive agreement signed in September 2013.
