A variety of cutting tools and accessories are available; a newly designed scraper can be used with all knives. The KSM 100 cutting machine is simple to operate. The cutting tools can be changed easily and very quickly.

The new KDB 120 dipping bath has been developed for final treatment of peeled or cut fruit or vegetables. By application of e.g. Nature Seal®, other liquids or water soluble powders a prolongation of shelf life and, consequently, increase of product quality will be achieved. The space-saving KDB 120 dipping bath can easily be integrated into existing fruit or vegetable processing lines but also can be operated as a stand-alone machine.

As with all KRONEN machines, both machines meet the strict EC and FDY hygiene guide lines. The solidly built machines use stainless steel extensively and were designed principally with ease of maintenance, and quick and easy cleaning in mind. In other words, the KSM 100 and KDB 120 are best suitable for professional applications.

Kronen will be exhibiting a wide range of its machine programme at Fruit Logistica 6–8 Feb. 2013 in Berlin, Germany.
