Leeds-based design agency Totality GCS has been commissioned to take one of the UK’s best-known bread brands into the snacks aisle.

The team, which has an extensive packaging design portfolio for licensed products, was asked by manufacturers Symington's to create packaging and POS for the new Kingsmill Mini Toasts range.

Currently exclusive to Tesco, the multipacks come in Mature Cheddar and Red Onion and Sea Salt and Balsamic Vinegar flavours.
“Kingsmill is a well known brand, but it was important that taking it into the highly competitive snacks category and a new part of the supermarket, we gave it strong shelf standout. said Totality GCS Creative Director James Ryan.

“We also needed to emphasise Mini Toasts’ healthier option credentials, so there is very clear front-of-pack information on the number of calories the products contain and that they are baked not fried..”

Totality GCS specialises in corporate identity, packaging, literature, point of sale and direct mail, working with clients including Unilever, Symington's, PZ Cussons, Lloyds Banking Group, Golden Wonder, Nando’s and Gourmet Burger Kitchen.
