The Event in Berlin this year brought to CARTON PACK the opportunity to show over the international stage the results of great investments and technological innovations set up throughout 2013 (> 60 ml. revenue 2013) . Strengthened by recent developments in processes and now launched toward the expansion of its commercial organization, CARTON PACK has received many approvals from the visitors occurred to the stand.
The company has expressed two essential focus: the use of recyclable materials in a sustainable way, in response to the needs of economic and social responsibility; besides, the development of effective solutions for customers’ brand management strategies. Furthermore, there have been shown new container formats to expand the range of products available per line.
We are pleased – states the CEO Gianni Leone - for the growing attention that we receive today from the market and furthermore for the confirmation of trust and sharing that our customers have shown us during their visits at Fruit Logistica 2014. At the appointment in Berlin (5-7 February 2014 - HALL 4.2 STAND A04) CARTON PACK presented all product lines, with particular attention to the results of a long study on customization for thermoformed containers. The objective of this investment is to provide solutions in line with strategies increasingly pushed by producers in order to strengthen their brand. The range of available models is very large, starting from small sizes, suitable for soft fruit (strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, cherries, etc.) to more voluminous containers designed for products such as mushrooms, zucchini, tomatoes, grapes, plums, apricots.
The ability to customize in a radical way the graphics and functionality of thermoformed containers opens new horizons to the enhancement of the brand and the product that belongs to it. wanted to give more sensorial appeal to the container to help its clients to convey the messages and the value of their brand on the shelves, enhancing the shopping experience for end consumers.
From a structural point of view, the container may be presented in multiple declinations personalizing the colour (transparent, black, blue) the external graphics, the handling (with the addition of a handle). CARTON PACK uses a film coupling system that allows you to “dress up" the container with graphics or text intended to enhance the image of the packaged product itself (see figure). The materials of the bands / labels covering are different: metallic, transparent, etc. The same applies to the handles of containers: they might be customize with colour, text, different materials that meet the specific needs of client companies.
CARTON PACK finally unveiled the innovative iPET-Tray® to meet the increasing demand for containers produced with recyclable materials and low environmental impact. It is a cost effective alternative compared to traditional containers in R-PET standard for fruits, vegetables and fresh-cut. iPET-Tray® is produced using an innovative R-PET manufacturing process.
The structure of the containers reaches very low specific weights (up to 50 % less than traditional containers in R-PET). iPET-Tray® is made up of 80% recycled material: this ensures a very low environmental impact. The container has a unique sensorial appeal that assimilates it to paper-like ecological containers and is characterized by a very smooth surface, suitable for reproductions of custom graphics. Finally, the internal molecular structure gives iPET-Tray® a unique lightness and an outstanding level of thermal insulation.
