Buckland Grove, a New Zealand-based single label vineyard, has been put up for sale in the market through Bayleys Marlborough.
The vineyard, which is spread over an area of about 5.9ha, has around 5,100 sauvignon plants, which produce around 47 tons annually. This volume is expected to be about 20% higher than normal in 2014.
Bayleys Marlborough salesperson Andy Poswillo said, "Kiwis are consuming more wine. This property presents an opportunity for a potential new owner operator or investor to step in and take over a highly-regarded property and a wonderful Marlborough lifestyle.
"This is an opportunity to invest in a well-established slice of the Marlborough wine industry, which is world-renowned."
In addition, the vineyard can be sold with an optional supply contract with St Clair Family Estate.
Since 2003, Buckland Grove wine has received around 17 trophies and 30 gold medals at national and international wine competitions.
