MULTIVAC's Packaging Technology Provides Guarantee of Freshness

The packaging soluMULTIVACtions are specially tailored to the requirements of small and medium-sized speciality businesses in the seafood sector. They are exceptionally user-friendly and offer a very good price-performance ratio. This makes it easy for users to automatically pro-cess fresh, frozen or (pre)cooked fish and seafood.

Their high-quality and durable stainless steel construction, together with the groundbreaking MULTIVAC Hygienic DesignTM, ensure that there is optimum ease of cleaning. This has a very positive effect on pack safety and therefore on consumer protection.

T 300 traysealer: Flexible and user-friendly

When designing its machine models, MULTIVAC placed particular emphasis on flexibility. This means that the T 300 being presented at Seafood has two dies, which can be changed particularly ergonomi-cally thanks to the use of its die changing trolley. The format conver-sion on the T 300 is very simple, since the die change on this compact model is supported by the software. Just a few hand movements are required to change the upper web. "The simple change system on this model is a unique feature", says Valeska Haux, Marketing Manager at MULTIVAC.

With the T 300 seafood manufacturers can produce high-quality and robust point-of-sale packs in small batches, both with and without modified atmosphere. The T 300 is also flexible enough to be able to achieve short production cycles, even when product batches are changing frequently.

C 370 chamber machine: Packing of long products

With the C 370 chamber machine being presented at Seafood, MUL-TIVAC will be showing a cost-effective solution for packing particularly long fish. The chamber width of 900 millimetres on the C 370 is twice as large as that of the other chamber machines in the C 3xx series. The sealing bars are arranged on the right and left.

As with all chamber machines from MULTIVAC, the settings on the C 370 can be saved as a recipe. This ensures that reproducible and re-liable results are achieved. The automatic progressive ventilation pro-vides gentle packaging of sensitive products such as fish fillets or prawns.

MULTIVAC is also showing sustainable concepts and solutions for packaging products in as natural a state as possible. Fish processors can for example produce Darfresh vacuum skin packs on the R 175 CD.
