Monsanto Belgium has been ranked as the No. 7 Best company to work for in Belgium among companies with more than 500 employees, according to the annual Great Place to Work survey.
The Great Place to Work Institute Belgium survey rankings are based on an assessment the institute runs on a wide diversity of employees across Belgium and on an assessment of personnel management within companies operating in Belgium.
The institute’s survey is one of the latest recognitions for Monsanto. Also last week, Monsanto Company was named one of the “World’s Most Admired Companies” by FORTUNE magazine, the U.S. business magazine. Monsanto was ranked No. 2 in its industry sector. The FORTUNE “World’s Most Admired Companies” list is based on company surveys and peer ratings from senior executives, directors, and analysts.
The Great Place to Work Institute is an international research firm, offering services to businesses, non-profit organizations and administrations goal in 45 countries. The institute works with the Vlerick Business School to compile its survey rankings.
Monsanto Belgium’s operations encompass its manufacturing site in Antwerp, where there are around 750 employees producing chemical products, and in Brussels, where around 30 employees work on a combination of regulatory affairs, marketing and public affairs across Europe, the Mideast and Africa.
