Breakfast cereal manufacturer Kellogg’s Australia has launched a new variation on its iconic brand All-Bran, which combines bran twigs with muesli.
With rolled wholegrain oats, crunch All-Bran twigs, seeds and fruit pieces in resealable packaing, the new All-Bran High Fibre Muesli is available in three flavours: Apricot and Almond, Summer Fruits, and Cranberry and Pink Lady Apple.
Each variant features pepita seeds, and Kellogg’s Australia said the range is “high in dietary fibre, low in sodium and is a source of protein”.
“The average Australian is not consuming enough fibre; the recommended amount is 30g per day,” said Professor Terry Bolin, President of The Gut Foundation. “A high fibre breakfast cereal is a great way to start the day off and achieve the fibre recommended for digestive health,” he said.
All-Bran High Fibre Muesli joins the Kellogg’s All-Bran range, which includes All-Bran Fibre Toppers, All-Bran Original cereal, All-Bran Apple Flavoured Crunch cereal, All-Bran Wheat Flakes Original Cereal and All-Bran Honey Almond Wheat Flakes cereal.
Kellogg’s All-Bran High Fibre Muesli is available in Coles and Woolworths supermarkets, as well as leading independent supermarkets, for RRP $4.99 for 450g.
