Food giant Nestlé has launched a mini KitKat variant, KitKat Bake, in Japan, the world's first KitKat designed specifically for baking.
According to the company, the new KitKat product can be eaten as chocolate bar or baked, and it becomes similar to a crispy cookie on oven for two minutes.
Nestlé has teamed up with Japanese chocolatier Takagi to develop the new product, which is scheduled to roll out across the country from 24 March.
KitKat Bake will be available in two varieties, including KitKat mini original chocolate and KitKat mini pudding.
Earlier this year, Nestlé opened its first boutique, KitKat 'Chocolatory,' within the Seibu department store in Ikebukuro, Tokyo. It offers a range of chocolate bar variants created exclusively in partnership with Takagi.
