Fazoli’s, the premium Italian quick-service restaurant ranked No. 2 overall among large national fast-food chains in the prestigious Zagat Survey, has formed an agreement with Ferrero U.S.A, Inc., makers of Nutella hazelnut spread.
Participating Fazoli's locations are serving Cheesecake with Nutella on a chocolate graham cracker crust, topped with a layer of Nutella. Priced at $2.49, the limited-time promotion runs through June 29, 2014 or until supplies last.
"We are excited to offer a limited-time-only cheesecake product made with Nutella," said Carl Howard, Fazoli's president and CEO. "Cheesecake is always popular, and this unique, indulgent dessert will be a big hit with our guests. Nutella is a global brand, and we're pleased to join with them in offering this delicious treat."
Fazoli's culinary department worked with The Father's Table, current supplier of Fazoli's cheesecake to develop a recipe before approaching Ferrero U.S.A., Inc.
