Peet’s Coffee & Tea, a US-based specialty coffee and tea company, has outlined plans to unveil 23 new stores in Washington, marking the company's first major retail launch in the region.
The proposed stores, to be unveiled across the market this year, are expected to create around 350 new jobs.
Peet's Coffee and Tea president and CEO Dave Burwick said that this is an exciting time in Peet's history as Washington DC will officially become the company's second biggest home outside of California.
