Dewar's, a Scotch whiskey owned by Bermuda-based Bacardi, has revamped the packaging for its flagship whisky range, with the introduction of a new visual identity and bottle design.
The new packaging includes a redesigned bottle, featuring trefoil Celtic truth knot that has been embossed onto the glass.
The knot is a visual representation of DEWAR'S strength and longevity shows three interlocking 'D's that represent the three men who created the company, including John Dewar and his sons, John Alexander Dewar and Tommy Dewar, the company claims.
The labels on the new bottles provide customers with information about its Scotch whiskey and Dewar's whiskeys carry individual statements of aging and provenance.
Dewar's visual identity will launch this month in the UK, Spain and Greece, followed by all other markets, including US, Global Travel Retail, Russia, India and Lebanon.
Bacardi produces, markets, and sells spirits and wines. The company offers rum, vodka, Scotch whisky, gin, vermouth and sparkling wines, tequila, brandy, liquors, malt beverages, and beer.
