Nature’s Path, the organic cereal producer dedicated to free-from products, has come up with its first-ever granola bars.
Proving that gluten-free doesn’t need to be humour-free, they are playfully called ‘Nice and Nobbly’ bars.
They’re ‘nice’ because they are packed full of wholesome things – and they’re ‘nobbly’ because the whole seeds and oats inside make it impossible for them to have a smooth outside.
Each 35g bar is a muddle of organic seeds, fruit and wholegrain clusters of golden-baked oats’ and there are two kinds:
Trail Mix – which features a blend of cranberries, almonds, peanuts, pumpkin seeds, coconut, flax seeds and gluten-free oats.
Dark Choc Chip – which adds Fair Trade dark chocolate to the above.
Nice and Nobbly Bars are endorsed by Coeliac UK and are available in packs of five 35g bars from Sainsbury’s, Tesco.com, Waitrose and all good independent health food stores, priced £2.99 (RRP).
