RefrescoGerber is to undertake a nationwide brand sampling campaign from May to November at 13 major county shows and lifestyle events attended by 1.7 million people.
Over 200,000 samples of Del Monte, Umbongo, Fruit Burst, Sunpride and Welch’s will be distributed along with books of discount vouchers, which are designed to encourage juice consumption across a number of occasions from breakfast through to dinner, to be redeemed in-store
The campaign will kick off at the Badminton Horse Trials on 7th May.
Other events attended will include: The Devon County Show, the South of England Show, The BBC Good Food Summer Show,The Great Yorkshire Show, CLA Game Fair, Royal Welsh,Car Fest North, Car Fest South, Chatsworth Country Fair, The Royal Berkshire and the BBC Good Food Winter Show.

“We’ve decided to run another sampling campaign as a result of the success of our first one in 2013.
“It’s a great way for us to engage with consumers, encourage trial and get direct feedback on our brands.
“Once people sampled the juices many went on to purchase product and it’s a great way to get them to try new flavours and ranges.
“In addition to offering people an opportunity to sample the brands, the events enable us to educate people and promote the benefits of juice consumption, particularly our low carlorie, low sugar Del Monte Naturally Light.
“Last year it received a lot of attention from people wanting to know if it was suitable for diabetics.
“Another brand which proved hugely popular at shows was Um Bongo.
“The Um Bongo retro revival was given a real boost at the shows with visitors coming up and singing the Um Bongo theme tune
