ined packaging films company TCL Packaging in Telford as the company’s new Purchasing Manager. She has fifteen years retail purchasing experience, the last five spent working in procurement at Sainbury’s Coventry head office site. The TCL role attracted Kay because of her professional interest in manufacturing, the packaging process and product development. Her work is initially focused on streamlining processes and increasing efficiencies within the TCL purchasing department. After this she will further expand the corporate social and environmental responsibility of the company’s purchasing and production process.
She comments: “In my last role, I developed in-depth knowledge of the packaging buying process from a retailing perspective and understand how retailers work and what they require from their packaging films supplier. I am excited to apply and expand this knowledge at TCL Packaging.”
