Ben & Jerry’s is launching a new variant into its Core range; Ben & Jerry’sAll or Nut-ting, available to retailers now.
In line with the existing range, new Ben & Jerry’s Core All or Nut-ting has a soft core of sauce – chocolate and hazelnut – surrounded by a pairing of two Fairtrade ice creams – chocolate and hazelnut – for a combination that lets consumers customise each spoonful.
The launch of the Core range in March 2012 cemented Ben & Jerry’s as the number one brand in the Luxury Ice Cream market.
With the range generating sales of over £18.5m in 2013, continuing to allow the brand to secure the majority share of the market.
Alessandra Salvo, Ben & Jerry’s Brand Manager, said:
“Ben & Jerry’s Core has been a real success to date, showing fantastic value sales and consumer demand for our innovative ice cream offering shows no sign of abating.
“By launching a brand new variant in 2014 we’re looking to drive even more value into the £172m Luxury Dessert Ice Cream market by enticing our existing fans to expand their ice cream portfolio to include a new flavour, while attracting fans of nut-flavoured ice cream to trade up into Ben & Jerry’s.
“We’re confident our new All or Nut-ting Core will create further interest in the Luxury Ice Cream market, driving sales for retailers.”
The packaging format of Ben & Jerry’s Core All or Nut-ting boasts a higher-end design that aims to give a glimpse of what’s inside the tub and highlights the ‘core’.
Ben & Jerry’s Core has an RRP of £4.99 and each case contains eight 500ml tubs.
