France-based Champagne Louis Roederer is set to unveil new Domaine Anderson winery in Philo, California, just in time for the Anderson Valley Pinot Noir Festival.
The proposed winery will produce Pinot Noir wines from grapes sourced from 35 acres of the winery's own proprietary prime vineyards located throughout the Anderson Valley.
Domaine Anderson president Gregory Balogh said the winery plans to develop an estate dedicated solely to producing Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
"After years of complete devotion to the project, we are now delighted and honored to offer wine lovers, pinotphiles in particular, a pure expression of our Anderson Valley terroir," added Balogh.
Domaine Anderson had produced two Estate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines from a blend of several parcels, for the inaugural release in 2012.
In addition, two Single Vineyard Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines have been produced from grapes that are sourced from specific plots.
