One of Australia’s oldest family-owned food manufacturers, Ward McKenzie (McKenzie’s) has launched a new set of recipe books: a SuperGrain e-booklet and Homemade Baking recipe book.

Available to download from the McKenzie’s Facebook page, the SuperGrain e-booklet is full of recipes created for the cooler months. All SuperGrain recipes have been made using popular McKenzie’s products. Recipes in the e-booklet include ‘Warm Pumpkin and Lentil Salad’ and ‘Mexican Bean Burritos’.

McKenzie’s said the recipes include information about the numerous health benefits grains, legumes and lentils provide, as well as detailed cooking instructions for the different types of grains.

The Company said its Homemade Baking recipe book was designed for consumers with a sweet tooth. The book contains over 20 traditional recipes, including ‘Traditional Sponge Cake’, ‘Lamingtons’ and ‘Monte Carlo Biscuits’.

In addition, indulgent creations such as ‘Chocolate Caramel Slice’ and ‘Sticky Date Puddings’ have been included, along with a ‘Playdough’ recipe.

McKenzie’s is an Australian family-owned and operated food and beverage manufacturing business that has been in operation for more than 160 years. It began when William and Frances Ward arrived in Australia in 1852 and established a hay and corn store in King St, Melbourne.

The McKenzie’s range of products includes soups, pulses, legumes, baking ingredients, herbs, spices, curries, sauces, cereals and beverages.
