The NAtkins ew Atkins Nutritional Approach has expanded its Advantage range with the launch of its fourth ready-to-drink shake.

The Atkins Advantage Vanilla Shake is suitable for consumption on all phases of the Atkins diet, containing 15g of protein, 1.3g of carbohydrates and 0.3g of sugar.

Its launch follows the success of the Atkins Advantage Milk Chocolate, Café Royale and Strawberry Yoghurt varieties within the range.

Due to the low carb, low sugar recipe it is ideal for consumers who are following the New Atkins Nutritional Approach, as well as those who want to maintain a healthy weight and cut down on sugar and carbohydrate intake.

The 330ml carton, with a re-sealable lid, offers a ‘grab and go’ format, which allows busy consumers a balanced snacking option which doesn’t compromise on taste.

Peter Valentine, managing director of Atkins UK said: “We are seeing an increased demand for low sugar products, following a number of medical studies in the media, warning of the link between a high sugar diet and obesity.

“The wide range of products from the New Atkins Nutritional Approach will help those trying to cut down on sugar, by giving them viable alternatives to their usual snacks.”

To view the four phases and for guidance on the New Atkins Nutritional Approach and products visit the new Atkins website at www.atkins.uk.com.
