Newman’Newman’s Owns Own, the all-profits-to-charity brand, has launched three new products, American Rubs for Ribs, Pulled Pork and Brisket.

The three new products follow the succession of the American Condiments, which were launched by Newman’s Own in May this year.

The all natural rubs are new this year and are based on traditional USA regional recipes; the Kentucky rub for ribs, a Carolina-style rub for pulled pork and Texas-inspired rub for brisket.

The American Rubs join the rest of the American-inspired condiments range from Newman’s Own including the three table sauces, Smokin’ Hot Dog Sauce, Hot Pepper Sauce and All Star BBQ Sauce, which launched earlier in the year followed by the Blue Cheese Dressing and Santa Cruz Chilli and Lime Dressing.

The growing popularity of ‘low and slow’ cooked meats dishes were the inspiration for the new American Rubs, which provide authentic US flavours in an easy to use format.

Newman’s Own, the all-profits-to-charity family favourite, has a range of salad dressings, BBQ sauces, pasta sauces and marinades available throughout the UK.

Newman’s Own has already donated over £1million to a wide range of charities in the UK alone and over £250 million has been donated around the world via the Newman’s Own Foundation.

Sally Haydock, Newman’s Own Brand Manager in the UK said:

“The American Rubs are an innovative product range which will help consumers to recreate popular US style BBQ dishes with ease.

“Newman’s Own is an authentic American brand and we continue to look for new ways to bring a taste of the USA to the UK.”

The suggested retail price is £1.59 per 85g tube and will be available from selected ASDA stores nationwide from early June.
