Heaven Hill Distilleries selects Vistaar's Trade promotion management solution

Vistaar Technologies, a leading provider of pricing and promotion software, announces that Heaven Hill Distilleries, has selected its Trade Promotion Management (TPM) solution for beverage alcohol.

Heaven Hill is the nation's largest independent, family-owned and operated spirits producer and marketer and the world's second-largest holder of Kentucky Bourbon. Following a successful deployment of Vistaar's Price Structure Management, Heaven Hill will extend its use of the Vistaar revenue management platform to include TPM, enabling effective management of all price and promotion go-to-market processes.

"The Vistaar team has demonstrated deep beverage alcohol industry knowledge and capabilities, and we are pleased to extend our successful deployment into trade marketing processes," said Allan Latts, chief operating officer of Heaven Hill. "We expect to achieve significant productivity improvements in our sales and marketing organizations by optimizing the utilization of our promotional funds with our distributor partners and agencies."

The Vistaar TPM Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offering was launched at the highly successful 2014 Beverage Alcohol User Conference in May. TPM is a component of Vistaar's Beverage Alcohol product suite, which also includes Market and Retail Price Management, Beverage Alcohol Analytics, and Portal Solutions.

TPM capabilities include budgeting, planning and execution, and tracking of activities such as incentives, tastings, promotion events, merchandising and samples. Functionality that includes calendaring, approval workflow, and measurement of program effectiveness will foster collaboration across brand management and sales organizations, and also between suppliers, distributors, and promotion agencies.
