Emmi Caffé Latte can be brought on the go from even more convenience outlets thanks to the latest innovations announced by the brand.
The 200ml Emmi CAFFÈ LATTE Cappuccino and Extra Shot bottles are resealable, making the range an addition to the petrol forecourt (PFS) channel offering, where shoppers are often looking out for products they can drink on the road.
The new range will also be made with ultra-high treated milk.
This will enable them to be stored at ambient temperatures before displaying in fridges, opening up new avenues in its distribution chain and creating new occasions for consumer purchase.
All products will continue to be produced to Emmi’s standards, blended using freshly brewed espresso made from Arabica beans with and milk.
Emmi Caffé Latte’s Cappuccino is the best-selling iced coffee SKU in the UK market and Extra Shot is the strongest coffee in the range with 120mg caffeine content per 200ml bottle.
Coffee flavoured drinks contributed to 50% of market growth in 2013, which was driven by new shoppers entering the market, a pattern that is set to continue in 2014.
Since launching in the UK Emmi Caffé Latte has gone from strength-to-strength, now worth £7.8m, selling 7.3 Million cups, contributing more new shoppers to the category than any other brand.
Emmi prides itself on producing barista quality iced coffee and is committed to sustainability, selecting only coffee beans from Rainforest Alliance certified farms.
The Emmi Caffé Latte Longlife range of Cappuccino and Extra Shot joins Emmi’s fresh Cappuccino, Skinny, Vanilla, Decaff and Limited Edition New York Caramel variants and is available in Tesco PFS (RRP £1.35).
