UK-based food service company TICCO Foods has merged with Bindi GB, a supplier of premium, authentic Italian desserts and gelato.

With this merger, both brands will be benefited in terms of streamlining work processes, stock consolidation and greater clarity in the market place - which will in turn result in an improved service and increased range.

Recently, TICCO Foods has signed a ten-year partnership agreement with food logistics provider ACS&T Logistics to provide all storage and distribution services for TICCO Foods starting from July 2014.

The services will be provided through a new 25,000ft² unit/premises at Calder Way, Colnbrook in Slough, which is four times the size of the previous site.

ACS&T Logistics has been providing TICCO Foods with logistics services for the past 18 years. It will now be responsible for operations of the new facility, covering storage, picking and despatching both retail and wholesale delivery channels.

TICCO Foods managing director Jay Sanghera said: "We expect these changes to create fantastic opportunities for the business, with long term benefits for building the TICCO brand and to accommodate future growth.

"We envisage significant growth by moving into our new facility, giving us the ability to expand our product range and offering further food categories to our existing customers."
