Lizi’s will be launching a new low sugar variant of its granola to meet growing consumer demand for natural, healthy products.
Lizi’s prides itself on creating a breakfast options that are healthy, high in fibre and with slow energy release using all natural ingredients.
With Low Sugar, Lizi, has developed a recipe to reduce sugar levels much further, giving consumers an oaty, nutty cereal with very little sweetness.
Lizi Shaw, founder of Lizi’s Granola said:
“With the emphasis, now more than ever, on healthy eating and a move to minimise sugar intake as much as possible, the development and launch of Lizi’s Low Sugar Granola couldn’t have been more timely.
“With less than 4 per cent sugar we maintain the goodness and greatness of what Lizi’s Granola stands for by offering consumers an even more healthy product to enjoy at breakfast – or indeed at anytime of the day.”
“We also know that there are many potential customers who find many granolas too sweet. By leaving out high intensity sweeteners we aim to satisfy this increasing demand for a natural, less sweet breakfast option.”
Lizi’s Low Sugar Granola retails at £3.89 for 500g.
Low Sugar will be available in Asda from the end of July and Sainsbury’s and Waitrose from early September.
