US-based Pie Five Pizza has relaunched Great Pumpkin Spice Cake.
Last year, Pie Five's gastronomic guru was struck with a vision that could have only been inspired by the Great Pumpkin himself. Perfectly blended with Libby's pumpkin filling, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and clove, and topped with a drizzle of spiced pumpkin frosting, the Pumpkin Spice Cake is Wittman's delectable - and very personal - ode to a beloved fall icon.
"I knew he wouldn't let me down this year, I just knew it. The Great Pumpkin rises again!" shouted Wittman. "Thanks to him, my delicious combination of cake and cookie made from real pumpkin and baked fresh daily has become the perfect complement to a great personalized pizza at Pie Five each fall. I believe in my Pumpkin Spice Cake and so will you!"
But all good things must come to an end. This limited-time offering is available at all Pie Five restaurants nationwide only until Nov. 30. So fellow pumpkin fanatics shouldn't dilly-dally.
This seasonal dessert delicacy is available by the slice, or customers may purchase the entire dessert. But please, don't put them in trick-or-treaters' bags. That might get messy.
