According to a market report from AIJN for 2014, it is estimated that the market for juices and nectars in Poland reached 699 million litres (456 million litres of juices and 243 million litres of nectars). This is an increase of 3.8 percent compared to 2013, when a total of 673 million litres were marketed, reported Barbara Groele, general secretary of the National Association of Juice Producers, in an interview to www.portalspozywczy.pl.

"With this increase, we took the fifth place from Italy in the ranking of Europe's largest consumers. The leader was Germany, which consumed 2,405 million litres, followed by France (1,551 million litres), the United Kingdom (1,192 million litres) and Spain (968 million litres). These four countries stood in the same positions as in 2013. As you can see, Poland is the leader in juice consumption per capita among the countries of Eastern Europe," stated Barbara Groele.

It is estimated that, in 2014, the total production of Not From Concentrate (NFC) juices in Poland amounted to approximately 200 million litres, mostly sold in bulk in tanks to Germany. In the case of unpasteurised juices (cooled) a slight increase was also observed in the consumption of NFC juices, going from 51 million litres in 2013 to 55 million litres in 2014; an increase of 7.3 percent.
