With their season coming to an end, South African grapes are retreating from the marketplace in both number and quality. The prices of seedless black and seedless red grapes are about 130 and 110 yuan respectively. Red grapes from Peru are also approaching the end of their season, costing around 115 yuan. However, the smaller supply of grapes from these two countries did not affect the price of Chilean grapes. This year, more grape varieties from Chile have entered the Chinese market, and a stable supply and large volumes have resulted in steady prices of these grapes. The prices this week are 200 yuan for Sable seedless, 200 yuan for Autumn Royal, 155 yuan for Sweet Jubilee, 230 yuan for Thompson Seedless, 140 yuan for Crimson Seedless and 150 yuan for Red Globe. The overall turnover is high.
The prices of Thai Golden Pillow Durians have greatly fluctuated recently. Due to its bigger supply and the availability of other durian varieties in the market, the price of Golden Pillows Durian has now fallen to 530 yuan.
The Zespri kiwis available in Guangzhou are No. 22 and No.25, both with a stable price of around 180 yuan ever since they entered the market. Currently sold at around 170, the green kiwis from Chile are getting cheaper due to an oversupply and the availability of Zespri kiwis.
Domestic blueberries have just entered the market. With a limited supply and the current absence of imported blueberries, the prices remain quite high at around 240 yuan. They were even sold earlier at over 300 yuan.
