JP O’Reilly’s Burgers and Patties Recalled for Undeclared Milk

Kenosha Beef is recalling about 3,960 pounds of JP O’Reilly’s beef patties because they may contain milk in the form of cheddar cheese that is not declared on the label. The products also have undeclared bacon. No illnesses have been reported in connection to this issue.

The recalled products include 4-pound retail cartons containing 12, 1/3 pound burgers of “JP O’REILLY’S, PUB BURGER, FAMILY PACK, MADE FROM BEEF CHUCK,” with a sell-by date of 01-10-18. Also recalled is 24-pound cases of “JP O’REILLY’S, BACON & CHEDDAR BEEF PATTIES” with sell-by date of 01-10-18 and case codes of 0614KS42065, 0614KS42066, 0614KS42067, 0614KS42068 and 0614KS42070. These products have the establishment num bar “EST. 425B” inside the USDA mark of inspection. They were shipped to retail locations in Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.

Consumer complained about the bacon cheddar beef patties not labeled as containing bacon and cheddar. The products were labeled as “JP O’Reilly’s PUB BURGER,” but contained “JP O’Reilly’s Bacon Cheddar Beef Patties.” If you purchased these products and cannot consume milk, cheese, or bacon, don’t eat them. Throw them away or take them back to the place of purchase for a full refund.
