Exports of Iran's south-eastern provinces of Sistan and Baluchestan to neighbouring country, Pakistan, stood at above $580 million during the last Iranian calendar year, ended March 20, 2019.
According to head of the Sistan-Baluchestan Industries, Mining and Trade Organization, Nader Mirshekar, this showed a 150% increase in comparison with the preceding year. Exported goods included cement, dates, tiles, fuel, apples and vegetables.
Iran’s export value of non-oil products to Pakistan in 1397 hit $1.247 billion, showing a 36% hike as compared to the same period the year before.
According to the statistics released, trade exchanges of the Islamic Republic of Iran with Pakistan hit +$917 million, standing at the 3rd rank in terms of trade balance with neighboring countries.
The total trade volume exchanged between Iran and Pakistan in the same period hit from $1.320 billion in 2017 to $1.578 billion in 2018, showing more than 19% hike.
