Core Tip: Fresh Del Monte is introducing a new product through its Europe and Africa divisions.
Fresh Del Monte is introducing a new product through its Europe and Africa divisions. It recently partnered with D2 International on a new line of Del Monte® branded condiments.

Launching in October 2022 and made specifically for the UK market, the condiments come in four flavors—Tomato Ketchup, Light Ketchup, Jerk BBQ and Classic BBQ. These flavors incorporate some of its most popular products in the region, like tomatoes in the Tomato Ketchup and pineapple in the Jerk BBQ.

“This is an exciting addition to our expanding presence in the UK market and highlights the versatility of our products,” said Martin Tilney, senior commercial director for Del Monte UK and Europe.

Secondly, it is also offering European consumers avocados grown in Kenya. The avocados are sustainable and the Hass variety, giving them a creamy texture. In November 2021, its avocados grown in Kenya were certified by SCS Global Services as being sustainably grown and Del Monte says it’s the first grower to obtain that certification in this category.

“As consumption increases in our region, Europeans have become more demanding about the quality of avocados they buy, and this is an opportunity for Del Monte to offer the fruits that deliver the nutritional and taste benefits they expect, all year long,” said Thierry Montange, marketing director for Del Monte Europe Africa.
