The Norwegian Seafood Council’s latest numbers from January indicate a boost in the value of Norwegian seafood exports over this time in 2012, due in parts to increased export volume.
The value of Norwegian seafood exports in January totalled NOK 4.8 billion. This is an increase of NOK 636 million or 15 per cent compared to January last year, according to the latest figures from the Norwegian Seafood Council.
