Core Tip: Roy Rogers Restaurants, a US-based chain of fast food restaurants, has introduced a multigrain roll for any of the sandwiches at no extra cost.

The multigrain roll is currently in product testing at three locations, and will be available at all locations on 21 May 2012.

According to the company, Roy Rogers' new multigrain roll contains 11% fewer calories, 20% less fat, 19% lower carbohydrates, and 21% lower sodium than its Kaiser roll.

Roy Rogers Director of Procurement Jeff Mulliken said the new multigrain roll option is consistent with Roy Rogers' message of choice, and the versatile nature of a brand that offers burgers, chicken and roast beef .

Roy Rogers Restaurants, which is owned by Plamondon Companies, has about 49 locations in the US. It offers roast beef, fresh fried chicken, and burgers.
