Core Tip: CLIF Kid, a maker of organic snacks, has launched Cookies 'n Cream - a new energy snack bar, under its Zbar Crispy line.
According to the company, Cookies 'n Cream is made with 8g of organic whole grains, 12 essential vitamins and minerals, and offers calcium, iron, zinc and vitamin D.

In addition, it is USDA-certified organic and does not contain genetically-modified ingredients, artificial flavors or colors, sweeteners or preservatives, high fructose corn syrup, hydrogenated oils, or trans-fat, the company noted.

CLIF Kid brand director Jennifer Yun said that CLIF Kid seeks to make parents' jobs easier by providing nutritious and tasty snacks their kids will love.

"Zbar Crispy Cookies 'n Cream is a yummy new addition that delivers organic and wholesome ingredients in a favorite classic flavor," Yun added.

Zbar Crispy Cookies 'n Cream is available now at select grocery and natural retailers across the country. It joins other kid-friendly Zbar Crispy flavors including Chocolate, Chocolate Chip and Peanut Butter. It is available for a suggested retail price of $0.89 per bar, and of $4.49 per 6-count box.

CLIF Kid is a brand owned by Clif Bar & Company, maker of organic foods and drinks.
