Fiber One introduces Chocolate and Strawberry Chewy bars

Core Tip: Fiber One, the brand owned by US food company General Mills, has launched Chewy bars in Chocolate and Strawberry PB&J varieties.
The snack, which is being targeted towards kids, features a peanut butter or chocolate-flavored bottom. It contains fiber, calcium and 8g or less of sugar.

Each bar has 110 calories or less and contains no high fructose corn syrup.

New Fiber One Chewy Chocolate and Strawberry PB&J varieties are available in grocery stores across the US in the granola bar aisle. A box containing six 1 oz. bars has an MSRP of $3.89.

General Mills is based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and its consumer brands include Cheerios, Häagen-Dazs, Nature Valley, Yoplait, Betty Crocker, Pillsbury, Green Giant, Progresso and Old El Paso. The company had fiscal 2011 net sales of $14.9bn.
