Core Tip: Montreal Kosher has issued an expanded recall of its snack products in Canada as they may contain egg which is not declared on the product label, according to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA).
The earlier recall issued was on 26 July 2012 for Potato Knish, 283g and 454g. The latest recall includes 340g packs.

These products have been distributed in Quebec and Ontario.

CFIA noted that there has been one reported reaction associated with the consumption of these products.

Consumption of these products may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in persons with allergies to egg.

The manufacturer, Montreal Kosher, based in Montreal, Quebec, is voluntarily recalling the affected products from the marketplace, while the CFIA is monitoring the effectiveness of the recall.
