Strawberry, pear and persimmon are three fruit items introduced in Dubai and they are still gaining popularity after the tasting event in Spinneys last year. It earned the company the distinction of being the first Korean exporter able to promote agricultural products in the Middle East and gain success.

“Dubai and the rest of the Middle East are emerging markets for ChangRak Farms. This is just the beginning of establishing our market in the Middle East, Dubai is a perfect opportunity for us to start. Supplying our products to Spinneys is an advantage, consumers are aware of their high-end market and the strict selection process of choosing the products before hitting the store shelves goes with this. If it is from Spinneys, it reassures the consumers of the safety and high quality of the products,” said Mr. Young-ho Na, President /CEO of Changrak Farms.

ChangRak Farms is looking forward to increasing the demand and aims to find new markets in Europe. The Maehyang variety is available for export, and according to Mr. Young-ho Na it is much sweeter than the strawberries from the US.
