Attitude Drinks, the maker of the Phase III Recovery brand, has added Cincinnati-based grocery store chain - The Kroger - to its retail portfolio.
Phase III Recovery will be available in the sports nutrition sections of select Kroger grocery outlets in Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina and Kentucky.
The beverage is a reduced sugar, low fat, real flavored milk that features 29% less sugar and more than two times the protein of regular chocolate milk, claims the company.
The concentrated mineral and nutrient rich milk provides 35g of protein and is available in 14.5oz re-sealable, environmentally 'green' bottles.
Attitude Drinks regional sales manager Bob Hearn said: "Recovery drinks are one of the beverage industry's hottest categories. Phase III(R) is a great product and I am very excited to be associated with the Attitude organization. My goal is to make real milk recovery readily available to consumers throughout the southeast."
Kroger serves customers in 2,425 supermarkets and multi-department stores in 31 states under two dozen local banner names including Kroger, City Market, Dillons, Jay C, Food 4 Less, Fred Meyer, Fry's, King Soopers, QFC, Ralphs and Smith's.
