On last Tuesday, November 13th 2012 a meeting was held in Oppeano of Verona, Italy to present new Cora Seeds proposals for the year 2013 for the upcoming pepper season.
The different farmers and technicians attending the meeting confirmed 2012 as a good year for the crop, with a good demand from buyers. This year, however, the issue of Mosaic Virus occurred more than in the past.
To date, in the Verona area, are unfortunately more strains of this virus, in some cases, very aggressive. Cora Seeds, with his entire staff, has consistently followed this issue from farms affected and showed that, to date, the only way of cultivation on land at risk is the use of resistant varieties.
Cora Seeds offers many opportunities to do so, with several new hybrids that are suitable for most growing areas: all of which have resistance to this virus, also ensure excellent production with a fruit with strong objective qualities such as the thickness of the flesh, the colour change and the remarkable final colour.
Among the most interesting varieties are to include: LOTHAR F1 type 34 long red MASTER F1 and still testing the new CRX 60030 F1 in types 34 and 12 along yellow.
