The sale , for £4.3M plus stock, was announced on June 15 2012. Minsterley’s former owner Uniq – acquired by Greencore in 2011 for £113M − had tried for years to revive the fortunes of the troubled business.

Cadbury-branded desserts

The Minsterley site in Shropshire makes Cadbury-branded desserts for the dairy company under contract. It also gives Müller, also based in Shropshire, the space and ability to expand into new areas of production such as own-label desserts.
Last February, Müller acquired Robert Wiseman Dairies for £280M.
