Popcorn product recall for non-declared dairy substance

Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) has announced that Koala Popcorn has recalled its chicken-flavoured popcorn because it may contain undeclared milk solids. The product, which comes in a foil sealed bag with a picture of cartoon koala on the front, is sold in school canteens and a small number of vending machines in NSW, QLD, SA, WA and VIC.

The recall affects packets of chicken-flavoured Koala Popcorn with a best before date earlier than and up to 07 July 2013.

People who have an allergy to or intolerance of milk products should not consume this product.
