LycoRed, Israel, names Zack Sun as the business development and sales manager for China for its food and beverage fortification business.

“LycoRed’s new site in Changzhou is expected to increase the premix business for the food and beverage industry in Asia-Pacific significantly during 2013,” says Ilan Ron, VP, sales & marketing, LycoRed. “We consider the FIC show as a great opportunity to showcase our advanced technology and introduce the sustainable nature of our production process there.

We also look forward to meeting customers for discussions on different technologies used for tailor-made premixes. We see FIC as an opportunity to share with customers our well-implemented strategy of putting food safety as our top priority, and demonstrating it as a significant part of the high level of quality that forms the backbone of our growth.”

LycoRed and Shanghai Lithy Foods will join forces at FIC Shanghai, China, on March 26-28, booth No. 1A61/1B60. LycoRed will focus on its new concepts and technologies in the dietary supplements market, including special premix formulations, natural colouring and carotenoids.

“As part of expanding our sales force, we welcome Zack Sun as a business development and sales manager for our food and beverage fortification business in China,” stated Ron.

Zack brings to LycoRed more than 18 years of experience in Asia-Pacific, North American and Israeli ingredient companies, focussing on customer-oriented technological support, as well as strong marketing and sales managing skills. He has extensive experience interacting with China’s food processors and ingredients suppliers.
