Air Liquide Industrial US, a producer of gases for food and beverage industries, has installed a new nitrogen liquefier at its Cleburne plant in Texas on 5 April 2013.

The second liquefier at the Cleburne plant is expected to help the company increase its liquid nitrogen supply to customers in a range of industries including food and beverage.

The company plans to recruit 21 permanent employees over the next two years at Cleburne facility to support the increased production capacity.

American Air Liquide Holdings chairman and CEO Michael Graff said that to meet the growing needs of its customers in the region, the company has expanded its production capabilities in Cleburne plant.

"Our expansion is proof that Air Liquide continues to see great potential in the growth of industry throughout the U.S, and we continue to seek and develop opportunities in communities such as those in Cleburne and Johnson County," Graff added.

Air Liquide has made five major investments in its Texas operations in 2012.
