Oman Oil Marketing (omanoil) has ventured into bottled water business by signing an agreement with National Mineral Water Company SAOG (NMWC).
As part of this agreement, NMWC will supply and distribute water under the brand name Ahlain.
NMWC sources, manufactures, processes, supplies, bottles and packages, stores and distributes omanoil's Ahlain bottled water.
Ahlain water will be sourced from the foothills of El Jabal El Akhdar where rainfall is naturally filtered to retain rich minerals.
Oman Oil Marketing retail, fuel cards and regional offices general manager Hussain bin Jama Al Ishaqi said: "We are confident that NMWC will match our quality standards by implementing pioneering techniques to deliver exceptional products."
NMWC operations regional manager Usama El Gohary said: "Our integrated, state-of-the-art and fully automated plant boasts machinery from some of the world's best equipment suppliers which will satisfy all contract requirements."
Produced in 500ml and 1.5l bottles, Ahlain bottled water is currnently available at all 81 ahlain convenience stores across Oman.
